Embodiment in Adolescence and Emerging Adulthood

Project Background:

The current research project investigates the body and self and body experience in adolescence and emerging adulthood. Specifically the research investigates the relationship between childhood trauma, attachment relationships, self-compassion and its links to body awareness, and self-recognition. The project utilizes the Mirror Interview to asses adolescents' experience of embodiment and self-recognition. Further, cross-cultural data is collected.
